Meet the newest members of the Cecil Road Primary & Nursery Team, Hopper and Skipper, we couldn’t be happier to have them on board!

Our new Dwarf Lop Rabbits will be based in the Nursery but in school every day to support our pupils at Cecil Road. Studies have shown that interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of Cortisol (a stress-related hormone), so having them helps provide a calm and relaxed space for our children when they are feeling stressed. 

Time spent with our bunnies can also support the social and emotional needs of our children – with the children showing them care, love, empathy & compassion. In return, they offer a non-judgemental listening ear, or just simply a cosy calming cuddle!

Please make sure you have completed your child's waiver on touching/handling the rabbits on Arbor!
