Welcome to Cecil Road Nursery

At Cecil Road Nursery, we provide a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive. Through play-based learning, caring relationships, and engaging experiences, we help children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Our dedicated team creates exciting opportunities both indoors and outdoors, supporting children's communication, physical development, creativity, independence, and social skills. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and ready to take their next steps in learning.

At Cecil Road Nursery, we believe that every child deserves the very best start, and we are committed to helping them grow, explore, and achieve their full potential.

Children can join our nursery from the term after their 3rd birthday, subject to availability.

Our main intake is in September each year.

Our session hours are Monday to Friday:

• Morning Nursery              - 8:30am to 11:30am
• Afternoon Nursery           -12:30pm to 3:30pm
• 30-hour Nursery              - 8:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 3:30pm (a chargeable 60 minute lunch club is available 11:30am to 12:30pm)

Lunch club is an additional service over and above the funded 30-hour provision.

The cost for lunch club will be £6 per day, plus the cost of a school lunch if required (the school lunch is chargeable per day). A packed lunch can be brought from home if preferred.

Should you wish to collect your child at 11:30am and return them back to Nursery at 12:30pm, then this will avoid the lunch club charge.

If you choose to pay for extra hours this must be paid in advance and payment can be made daily, weekly or termly. You can use childcare vouchers to make payment  https://beststartinlife.gov.uk/childcare-early-years-education/tax-free-childcare/

Booking in advance allows us to ensure we have the correct staff ratio for the lunch hour.

If payment is not received, we reserve the right to withdraw your child’s place.

Please note there will be no refunds given in the event of your child’s absence due to illness, holiday, or any other reason.

There will be no refunds given should the nursery be unable to open due to unavoidable circumstances.
