At Cecil Road Primary and Nursery School, we have been working hard on developing our Outdoor Learning Curriculum.
Miss Honey (Our Forest School Teacher) has secured a woodland site and has started taking our children out to begin learning outside!.
Nightingale has a fantastic first time at Forest School. We loved the fact that it was raining, it meant that we could make a giant mud slide into the crater and got very, very, very muddy! The morning group were lucky enough to spot a deer in the field as we got to Forest School and then we watched it run off into the trees. We has lots of fun building dens, mud sliding, mini beast hunting and identifying trees on the site. We also lit the Kelly kettle so we could have a hot drink. We can't wait until we go next time!
