Life Skills

At Cecil Road Primary & Nursery School, we believe that children need more than academic knowledge to succeed. They also need practical life skills that help them manage everyday situations safely, confidently and independently.
Our Life Skills Curriculum supports and complements our PSHE curriculum by providing children with opportunities to learn and practise essential skills for life.
Why Do We Teach Life Skills?
We want every child to leave Cecil Road equipped with the skills they need to:
-
Care for themselves and others
-
Stay safe in different situations

-

-
Prepare for the transition to secondary school and beyond
Through practical learning experiences, we help children become resilient, capable and confident young people.
