We are Cecil Road's school council! We meet every Monday morning to discuss all sorts of things relating to life here at Cecil Road. This may be anything from planning charity fundraising events to reviewing school policies. We hold class meetings and speak to the school in assemblies. Our classmates can speak to us if they have ideas on how to make our school even better. We wear our school council badges with pride!

Our school council have been working really hard this year to make improvements to the school and our wider community.

So far this year school councillors have... 

• Organised Harvest food donations for Hive Food Bank. 
• Voted for what children would wear and decided on party activities for Children in Need 2025.
• Organised playground games that would be set up during lunchtimes. 
• Made decisions on how badges and match attack stickers could be given out within the school. 
• Hosted a school council assembly 
• Planned fundraising ideas to purchase monkey bars for the playground. 
• Organised whole school playtime, so siblings could play with each other.
